About Pavel V. Kim:

Based in Kazakhstan, Pavel V. Kim's experience of foreign language learning started when he won Taraz City's Olympiad of English Language among high school students and participated in a student exchange program to Fresno City, California in 1992. After graduating from Texas A&M University with an economics major in 2000, he taught English language to Russian-language students in Taraz State University and served as a senior lecturer and head of the Department of Innovation Technologies.

In his own process of learning English, Pavel has studied the process of language learning and perfected his skills to utilize the positive moments, tools and studying methods. More importantly, he has gained unique insights to the various teaching and learning approaches introduced in textbooks from Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States. He now works in KIMEP University, one of the leading higher-education institutions in Central Asia. It is home to the largest concentration of Western PhD holders in the region.
