eBOOK DYNASTY: AUTHOR FEATURES: Yilian Feng

Chinese for Everyday Scenarios: Beginning Mandarin Chinese for Native English Speakers and Chinese Teachers was first published in2012 and in 2013, it was released in digital format. This book guides Chinese language learners step-by-step from words to sentences and dialogues for daily communications, like piling up building blocks, to create a piece of work. Learners can choose to start from any chapter in accordance with their communicative needs.

This book derives from different scenarios, which provide real-life contexts and give Chinese language learners a clear picture of how the words, phrases and sentences can be used in daily communications. It features various aspects of life, such as socializing, eating, shopping, transportation, entertainment and more, to help Chinese language learners fit into the local Chinese life. To ensure that learners become familiar with the Chinese tones and pronunciations, there are MP3 files attached so they can listen to the reply again and again.
