I feel blessed to be the 12th out of 13 children. My 74 years have seen many exciting and sad events. I grew up on a farm in Austria and lost my parents at a young age. From a childhood that included milking cows, I never imagined myself landing at the Sydney Opera House performing with my instrument -- the Zither -- it was a great contrast.

I have recorded over 10 CDs. The knowledge that I have brought much pleasure to many people with my music has given me great joy.

I had three children with my Australian husband and then ended up solo. I have survived everything well, for which I thank my optimistic attitude.
